Bred Ewe Sale                          Breeding Season 2007

                                                                Breeding Rams 2007

Previous Breeding Rams

These are our breeding ewes here at Jager Farm.  They are arranged by age, oldest to youngest.  If a ewe has died, been retired or sold, then they are still listed at the bottom in a separate chart.  Even though these girls are no longer working for us, they still have descendents in the flock so their genetics are still of import.  We are adding some new statistical information on some of the girls, due to the addition of BLUP stats for milkiness and prolificacy that SouthRam has added to their website.

You can see their BLUP listings at:  http://southram.bssl.is/default2.asp?Docid=527&RevID=500&Tpl=1Template1.asp&M1=398&M2=527    We have pointed out scores that are pertinent to our ewes when possible.   Note that in the BLUP system, 100 is average, less than 100 is a negative, and over 100 is better than average.  The meat scores are leaness, muscling, and then a composite meat score, maternal scores are milkiness and fertility.
